Amazing

I haven't checked your page out in a while, what a nice surprise it was. I see you've upgraded to a different library, or at least it sounds like you did... Very high quality stuff. East West? What are you using now? The instruments kind of remind me of Silk.

This piece is written extremely well. It could almost be described as... beautiful. ;)

You're incredible, man. I wish people would pay as much attention to you as they do some other slightly undeserving artists... Not to be bitter or anything! Keep up the great work!

This one was made with East West Goliath and Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus. Thankfully, I got a killer discount!

Man, you made my night with this review! Thanks for the uplifting review.

My short lived popularity has mostly died out, and it does seem like there is a lot of junk floating around in the top 30 much of the time. Still, I am so thankful for all the kind words that people have given in reviews. I'm just happy to be making music, and I'll keep making more. :)

yessss

I LOVE this. Thank you for putting effort into making it sound like its being played by an actual orchestra. There are way too many songs on here that reek of MIDI.

The only negative comment I can think of is already addressed in the author comments. It sounds a bit monotone and seems to slightly drag on after a while, but its not a big deal.

Keep it up! :)

descara responds:

Thanks! Comments like this make it well worth the effort. :)

wow...

Why this hasn't gotten more recognition is beyond me. Very solid sound, well put together. Keep it up!

holy mother of pearly-o's

I'm sure anybody would believe it if you told them this was from the score to a major motion picture. Seriously, this is just amazingly well written and produced. Very unique sounding, it could easily set the tone of a full length movie.

I know exactly what you mean by the empty feeling filling your mind to the point of giving up on a song. I've experienced that way too many times. But hey, if something like "The Terminal" is the result of enduring that feeling for a while, I'd say its well worth it.

i'm sick of thinking of summaries to write here

God damn, I love stumbling across high quality stuff in the classical section here on Newgrounds. It's pretty rare since a lot of people use crappy samples or just lack the composition skills needed to write an effective symphonic piece. Thank you for this wonderful song!

awesome

I happen to be in an extremely "orchestral" mood right now. I also am a huge childhood enthusiast, there was honestly nothing better than being a kid. Kids are still awesome, even though I'm not one anymore. I relive my memories by coaching the rec swim team that I swam on from when I was 9 up until I turned 19. My major in college is middle childhood education, so I think my life is just going to be full of children ( but not in a creepy way). lol

Well anyways, great piece you've got here! Its just what I needed to hear right now, keep it up!

WOOP!

So i basically spent the entire song waiting for some kind of guitar to come in. Then the song ended and I realized I had spent the entire song waiting for a guitar and didn't really pay attention to anything else, so I had to listen to it again. You got 2 listens for the price of 1.

I apologize if there actually was a guitar in there. Sometimes my ears filter out electronic instruments.

On a serious note, though, I pretty much loved this song. Its got a lot of variety, and like you said, it kinda sounds like two completely different songs merged into one. I loved the drum beats you had going along with the trippy melodies and stuff, but there was something lacking. Nothing composition-wise, I think it was in the mixing/mastering. It just didn't explode with power in a lot of parts where it seemed like it should have. You know what I'm saying? It just needs that little edge and to be a little more crisp sounding! Given that, I really could have gotten my head banging. Even though I did that anyway. Because the song rocks. Butter goes on bread. Grapes fly. Lemon sauce.

Nice work you son of a gun!

best on newgrounds

This is hands down my favorite dubstep song on Newgrounds and also just one of my favorites in general. I've blasted this in the car so many times and it never fucking gets old! Its so fucking dirty and trippy and disgusting!

woww....

If this sounded any more like Pendulum... it would be Pendulum.

Being the crazed Pendulum fanatic that I am, I absolutely LOVE this. Keep it up! :)

so awesome...

So much epicness is just spewing out of this song like goopy glop from an inflated balloon being squeezed with numerous tiny holes in it. The goopy glop serves as a metaphor symbolizing the epicness. I probably could have used a better word than "numerous".

I only have one complaint. Its not long enough. But I understand that it was made for a cartoon and had some purpose behind it other than just being a big bad awesome song. Even the bobble heads on my desk are head banging. But really they're just doing that because my desk is very large and slightly unstable. The whole thing shakes around just from me typing on the keyboard. That's a problem for another day I suppose.

Keep up the good work!

Burn7 responds:

How about "Multiple" or "Copious"?

I'm an English/Lit nerd sometimes.

Hah, yeah I know it's not very long. But at least you know why it's not any longer.

Glad I could rock the fuck out of your bobbleheads. Anyway, I'm going to stare at the graphic cleavage of this ad on the left of the page for a few more minutes, then click the "Respond!" button over there to my left.

... Ah, that's nice.

I've been browsing NG since 2001, finally got around to creating an account in 2005! After that, I pooped.
