I got to beta test the NEWGROUNDS REDESIGN! (Pics included)

Earlier today, glorious user TomFulp contacted me and offered a spot in the Newgrounds Redesign BETA testing group. Being the NG enthusiast that I am, I was quick to accept!

I gotta say, though... it's definitely not what I had expected. I mean, the interface is sleek and easy to navigate, and there are also a lot of new features (Most of them proving quite useful). But the whole thing bears a startling resemblance to Harvard student Mark Zuckerburg's surfacing social network project The Facebook. I'm not sure how this whole thing is going to play out as far as legal issues and whatnot, but I am still very excited for the official launch!

is it true NG will also be completely removing the blaming system in an attempt to snag more "RICK ROLL"N" page views? I can't wait for the first front page rick roll!

I'm not sure what is in store for the blam/protect system. Everything in the beta still works in accordance to the current version of NG. The only thing we were able to see is the layout and some limited, new functionality.

Although, there are some hints that Newgrounds may adopt a system of "liking", similar to that of Facebook and Youtube.

I didn't make it, those are actual screenshots from the beta testing. But if I were to ever fake something like this I would probably use Photoshop
