a new energy

This energy..... Its.....

Its something new. I've never felt this before. I tell the trees to give it their best shot. "You're taller than the fence! You can make it over!" I shift my glance over to the tallest of them all. "Come on! Be a leader!" They don't move. Not even a nanometer. In a raspy, defeated voice, I mutter under my breath, "Damn trees." What good is a tree on the other side of the fence anyway?

Great song!

hey who lives in there

Over the river and through the wood. We come to a place my father once stood. Thirty degrees east, one hundred north, it's the thought that counts. While we're discussing that, I'll go off in a whole new direction. What've you got here? Sounds like a song. Its an audio track, I was half right. Let's break it down:

The song starts with an intro. Using an intro is okay, but you need to be careful. I think you pulled it off decently here. You might not be so lucky next time, though. I suggest you blast right into the main melody full force for future projects - Intros are just too risky.

After the intro comes a powerful beat. You have to be more cautious when it comes to the powerful beat, DjSc00p. You did a pretty good job here, but I recommend you stick with little/no beat at all for future productions. Think like the consumer for a second (Pretend that NG music costs money). Ask youself, "Do I want any of these songs to have a powerful beat? Should I download this one or that one? This one's got a powerful beat, its out of the question." That last sentence was a statement, don't ask yourself a statement. Its just what the average person would have said.

Well so far so good. Closely following the powerful beat is something I can't describe. It's an all out breakdown where everything you've grown to know and love just flat out stops. I honestly don't know what you were thinking here. How could you have known that this would work out? Was it just your lucky day? Whatever it was, it kept the song moving along quite nicely and gives the listener a chance to relax for a few moments. What a crazy idea.

Skipping ahead a bit, we come to the ending. I was kind of surprised because most good songs don't end. You were feeling extremely ambitious I see. I like you're style, DjSc00p! Always taking risks. Its as if you knew that people wouldn't want the song to go on for the rest of their days. Gee whiz.

Speaking of endings, its time for this review to come to one of its own. I had a lot of good times writing this, and I'm very sad to say that I must move on in my life. There are just other things to do. I hope you understand. Nice job on this, and keep up the good work! ;)

DjSc00p responds:

Thanks for the long review xD. I agree, an intro can make or break your song, but if you pull it off right it will sound good haha. For the beat, i dont get why there shouldnt be a beat? lol and for the breakdown, i felt it was neccessary to put it into the song. And at that same spot also lol.. It just felt like the right time xD. And for the ending, lol no comment on that xD. I dont think this song had so many risks though, but its your point of view anyways haha. Thanks for the review man really appreciate it. thanks

wowzas!

I love the background ambiance. It makes me want to go dance in my sink. Or with my sink. Or on my sink. Maybe even under my sink. Either way, this song is sexy. You did the right thing making a longer version. 34 seconds is just not enough! Kinda like how rating this song any less than 5/5 or 10/10 is just not enough! I like your style, keep up the good work!

See ya!

Shan83 responds:

nice

Solid track! I like the fact that you played the guitar yourself. You deserve 6 out of 5 and 24 stars. You know, you should shoot for the moon because even if you miss... you'll always land among the stars. In this case 24 stars landed among you. That's how sexy you are.

Keep it up!

Rottenbeard responds:

Haha, nice review man, interesting analogy.

Thanks!

Wow

Very simple in terms of melodies and such. Fucking awesome though, I love it. Everything is great, nice synths and drums, sounds clear. Makes me run for the tissues and petroleum jelly every time! I've never heard the original song, but this had to be at least 4.16x10^-3 times better.

You're a very sexy person! Keep it up!

NeonProject responds:

Haha, you must faveourite me. ^^

VGSongbird responds:

Oooh thank you.

woaaoboO!!!!!

I need to pay more attention to your stuff! This is amazing! Very powerful sounding, quite professional as well. Crystal clear, I love it.

Keep up the good work!

P.S. This song reminds me of the hardstyle mix of Welcome to Rainbow by Basshunter :)

ZooSafari responds:

Thank you very much Jebbal, I havent heard that song, but I will look up for it ^^

Take care!

what!

Its already 2 and a half minutes! Don't trash the project now! GET YOUR ASS BACK INTO WHATEVER YOU USED TO MAKE THIS AND FINISH IT UP!

I think its really catchy by the way ;)

yesssummmm

I am also a fan of the Instrumental half way through the piece. I love this, keep up the great work. ;)

I've been browsing NG since 2001, finally got around to creating an account in 2005! After that, I pooped.
